My favorite project:
The Wolf
Academy
The Centreville Academy, built in 1803, was one of the first schools in Maryland.
Over the years, it was used as a home for church elders, an American Legion Post, a bed & breakfast, and finally a private home.
In 2020, Tessa and her husband bought the 220-year old schoolhouse, which was in a state of disrepair. Over two years, she restored and renovated every inch, creating a truly one-of-a-kind historic home. She designed each room and sourced all local antiques and historic building materials to bring each space to life in an authentic way.
The Wolf Academy was featured in Washingtonian Magazine in 2021. The renovation process was documented on Instagram.
